In It To Win It... Desperate times call for desperate measures

I am fortunate to have grown up as a young man with the likes of Zig Ziglar sitting at the dinner table with my family. He had become a great friend to my father as I was growing up. His stories and the wisdom he shared about life but also about how to “Stay In It To Win It!” And his book “See You At The Top!”

Desperate times call for desperate measures. We all are experiencing something we have never experienced before with the current situation. It transcends all areas of our lives at many levels at the same time. We have many choices to make, my choice is to overcome, to fight, and to succeed in a troubled, unstable economy. One thing I learned at those dinner table talks was that every situation, no matter what it is poses tremendous opportunity to the ones that will adapt, and position themselves to thrive in a new environment. Zig would say, “You are what you are because of what goes into your mind.”

Attitude is everything!

Most if not all the country is in some sort of isolation or lock down. Many of us are experiencing customers that look at us like a serpent with a rattle on the end of our tale if we walk in their business. So what do we do? Give up? Heck no, we adapt, reinvent, reposition, and change the way we have always done it. Positioning ourselves for opportunity in a difficult market.

What’s in your toolbox?

Many are now working from home, telecommuting, and having to try new ways of getting results. Tools such as ZOOM.US, FACETIME, GOTO MEETING, and Voice Messaging. All are accessible with smart phone device’s.
